Tombstone, Arizona was one of the last true frontier towns in the American Old West. The town also had the largest deposit of silver, which attracted the attention of entrepreneurs, businessmen, politicians, and rapscallions. Virgil Earp has been named Deputy U.S. Marshal and he informed his brothers, Wyatt and Morgan, to relocate to Tombstone chasing the silver trade. One of the most famous companies, Wells-Fargo & Co, hired Wyatt Earp, a renowned lawman in his own right, to ride “shotgun” on some silver wagon shipments from the Arizona desert to ensure the precious cargos’ safety.
With such wealth booming, crime soon followed, which in turn brought more law and order. The Cochise County Cowboys, lead by a man named Ike Clanton, were among the most problematic for the Tombstone Lawmen. These Cowboys were notorious for stealing cattle, horses, and smuggling opium.
However, the strong arm of the Law, lead by the Earp brothers, would clash with the daring defiance of the Cowboys on March 15, 1881…
Which side will right history? The Earps or the Cowboys?
